How soon can I get my cards?

The postcard print production time (turnaround time) is calculated from the time that you approve your proof. Final proofs must be approved by 12:00 pm ET in order to be sent to print that same day. You can choose a print production time of either 2 or 3 business days. Shipping time is additional. The postcards are shipped from California through FedEx. You can check out the UPS website to calculate ground shipping time to your destination, which varies from 2 - 4 days.

How are you eco-friendly?

We use SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) certified heavy-duty paper made in the USA with 10% post-consumer waste, with soy inks. Also, postcards eliminate the use of envelopes which saves trees! 

Can you send me samples?

At this time, we do not send out samples. Please check back as our company is growing fast and always changing to meet the needs of our customers.

How do I send you my photo?

A form will appear on your cart page. Please add your name and e-mail and attach your photo. Hit "submit" to continue to your checkout page. To ensure the best quality, please send us your photo in the highest resolution. Photos under 1mb will not print very well, so please keep that in mind. We will contact you if we think there are any issues.

What format and size should I send my photo?

We accept the following formats: jpg, jpeg, tiff. Your photo can be no less than 1mb. 

What if I want my photo changed to black and white?

We can do this! Just write us a note on your form when you send in your photo and we will convert your photo to black and white.

What if I want to change the wording, or add my own?

This is definitely possible. Let us know what you would like to say and we will try and make it work. Keep in mind that some cards have more space than others.

Can I change the colors on my postcard?

ANything is possible! Please contact us to discuss your custom options. All custom work is subject to a graphic design fee of $90/hr.

Will you touch up my photo?

Photo manipulation is an option, but it would be subject to a graphic design fee of $90/hr.

Do you offer a full design service?

Yes! The base price for your card includes placement and cropping of your photo, optional black & white proof along with your color proof, and typesetting on the frontside (if required) and backside. But if you want more than this and you want something original, we also offer complete custom cards through our graphic design service. The minimum is $90/hour and turnaround times do vary. What is your cancellation policy?

If you are unhappy with your postcards or gift tags for any reason, contact us within 30 days of receiving your order and we will be happy to arrange to reprint your order at a discounted price. If you decide to cancel your order before our designers have created your proof, we are happy to refund your purchase minus a $15 processing feel. If you decide to cancel your order after our designers have created your proof, we are happy to refund your purchase minus a cancellation fee of $25. Once you approve your proof, we are unable to change your order. While we can't refund your purchase, we will assist you with a discounted reorder. Of course, if the error was ours, we will reprint the order at no cost to you. Please contact us as soon as possible so we can assist you.

Do you charge sales tax?

Late Night Cake is required to collect sales tax on purchases shipped to Connecticut. Tax is calculated on the total cost including shipping.
